Allan & Anne's Story
Allan & Anne
Allan & Anne were in their late 40s when they
started to think seriously about retirement planning. Several years ago
they inherited family money from several out of state relatives. Their
portfolio soon became a mish mash of widely dispersed assets: Separate
bank accounts and credit cards, an IRA over here, several 401 K plans
from previous jobs over there, a couple of mortgages. They knew they
needed to consolidate everything but weren’t sure where to start.
Finding a trustworthy, independent financial planner not affiliated with
a particular brand of financial products and services was also important
to them. They had met with a few candidates but nothing clicked until
they were referred to Sigman Financial Fitness®.
Sigman Financial Fitness®
Role
Allan & Anne are typical of many couples who get caught up in the
business of life and never seem to make the time to devote to financial
planning. After several meetings, we were able to hammer out a plan in a
very short amount of time. For them, it was really about making
retirement planning a priority. Since working with Sigman Financial
Fitness®, Allan & Anne have consolidated their finances and understand
how all of the pieces fit together. Estate planning is next on their
list of completing the full circle of the retirement planning process.
